Brahim, is a Tunisian who lives in France, he gets back
to Tunis to bury his son who died in a motorcycle
accident. He discovers that the young Marouan was
militating with a radical Islamist group. Brahim decides
to conduct his investigation to identify the ones who
indoctrinated him.

Director: Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud

Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud is a Tunisian-Belgian writer and director. He has
to his credit several feature films and a dozen documentaries. "Traversées"
(1982, selected in Venice), "Diamond Dust" (1992, Directors' Fortnight), "Les
Siestes Grenadine" (1999, Cannes Junior), "Wajd or the thousand and one
voices" (2001, selected in Venice) and "The Professor" (laureate of the
Carthage Festival in 2012) are his best-known films. "Fatwa" is his sixth
feature film. For twenty five years Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud also conducted
screenwriting workshops at the Free University of Brussels.
